What is COBie
COBie is the default information exchange schema for BIM Level 2 projects and the Home Nations Working Group. COBie is a non-proprietary data format for the publication of a subset of building information models (BIM) focused on delivering asset data rather that geometric information.
The key element to comprehend with BIM level 2, is the data inside the model and how that data is shared with stakeholders. We will transfer your non graphical data using COBie, an international standard that integrates key information into one format to be shared at defined stages in your project. By doing this, we will help you capture and record important project data at the point of origin, including equipment lists, product data sheets, warranties, spare parts lists, preventive maintenance schedules and so on.
